Dyer may return for Magpies
11/05/2004 - 16:24:03Newcastle midfielder Kieron Dyer could yet have a role to play as his club’s season comes to a dramatic end.
The England international has been included in the squad for tomorrow night’s vital Premiership trip to Southampton for the first time since damaging his hamstring in the 0-0 draw at Aston Villa on April 18.
However, there is no place for Craig Bellamy, who picked up a similar injury in the same game, or Jonathan Woodgate and Jermaine Jenas (both thigh), while Andy O’Brien completes his two-match ban.
