No fare increases this year, say Ryanair
11/05/2004 - 16:53:01Low fares airline Ryanair today responded to British Airway's decision to impose fuel surcharges by vowing that their passengers would not face similar charges.
The airline also said that there will be no price rises for Ryanair passengers either.
Ryanair Chief Executive, Michael O'Leary, said: "It is unfair that passengers who have already bought and paid for tickets should now have to pay surcharges.
"At Ryanair, we believe that the low fare you pay is all you should pay, and we guarantee that every passenger who books their summer holiday with Ryanair can do so free of any price rises or fuel surcharges," O'Leary added.
