Palestinian child killed by exploding flare
04/05/2004 - 15:29:29A nine-year-old Palestinian boy was killed today when a flare he was playing with exploded, security and hospital sources said.
Two 11-year-old boys were injured.
The children discovered the flare, apparently left by an overnight Israeli patrol, in the area, Palestinians said.
They said the army often trains in the area, located near the Palestinian town of Tulkarem.
