GAA set to sever hurling links with Guinness
04/05/2004 - 17:07:58The GAA's long standing sponsorship deal with Guinness is set to be severed following yet more calls to end the controversial association.
The drinks giant has been chief sponsor of the All-Ireland hurling championship for the last 10 years but high profile figures have been scathing of an alcoholic company sponsoring GAA games.
It is understood that the GAA will make an official announcement about the state of play this week.
