Connacht game moved forward to Friday
Friday night rugby will come to the Sportsground in Galway on Friday week with Connacht¹s final home match of the season against Celtic Warriors being brought forward by a day.
Originally, the game was fixed for Saturday afternoon but will now take place on Friday evening, May 14, with a 6.30pm kick-off.
The game is set to attract enormous interest as it will mark the final match that world record points scorer Neil Jenkins will play - the Welsh star is retiring at the end of this season and the Connacht game will be his final competitive game.
The game will bring the curtain down on a very eventful season for Connacht, which saw them play 33 competitive matches and it is hoped that a large crowd will turn up for what promises to be an entertaining evening.
Children will be admitted free of charge to the game and there will be face-painters and other surprises for them during the evening.
