Arsenal may have been hailed as Premiership champions at Highbury but they experienced frustration in a largely uneventful first half against Birmingham City.
Steve Bruce’s well-organised side were, understandably enough, concentrating on containment as they looked to keep their own hopes of qualifying for Europe alive.
Henry’s speculative shot flew harmlessly wide, while a free-kick brushed over the heads of Sol Campbell and Kolo Toure.
However, apart from a few wayward tackles, with Damien Johnson earning a booking, there was little excitement at Highbury as the interval approached.
