Injuries mount for Magpies
30/04/2004 - 11:21:41Newcastle head for their must-win clash with Manchester City with a lengthy injury list to contend with.
Defender Jonathan Woodgate is the latest man to join the long-term casualty list after tearing his thigh muscle in the 2-1 win over Chelsea last Sunday.
Kieron Dyer, Craig Bellamy and Lee Bowyer (all hamstring) and Jermaine Jenas and Andy Griffin (both thigh) are all out, with no prospect of swift returns, so youngsters Steven Taylor, Martin Brittain and Bradley Orr are all likely to travel.
