Roe rules Doran out of Wexford football panel
14/04/2004 - 17:57:32Wexford football boss Pat Roe has been forced to accept the decision of experienced attacker Scott Doran to quit the county panel.
Doran spoke to Roe as recently as last Friday week and was apparently 'upbeat' about the championship, but quit in a shock announcement to the team boss yesterday.
Roe said: "I'm surprised and disappointed. I had no incline of it happening and there was no forewarning. I was talking to him very recently and he was quite positive and upbeat about the championship."
