Cloonan and Forde get Player of the Month gongs
14/04/2004 - 06:55:52Galway's Eugene Cloonan and Wexford football star Mattie Forde were awarded with Vodafone Player of the Month gongs.
Cloonan has been in sensational form for Galway and helped the Tribesmen to a dramatic victory over Cork just last weekend.
Forde has been an ever present in the Wexford team that came so close to making the National League semi-finals.
The Kilanerin man scored 4-5 in an amazing game against Galway in Div 1B and also hit tallys of 2-10 and 0-7 in other high profile ties.
