Tribesmen's chief wants proper performance
02/04/2004 - 13:17:47Galway boss John O'Mahony has named a strong side to face Cavan on Sunday - and wants the selection to be represented by a good performance.
The Tribesmen's chief says he has to see the real Galway this term because their Division 1A campaign has been laced with ups and downs.
O'Mahony said: "It is difficult to identify the real Galway. Overall we would not be happy with our consistency within the league campaign."
O'Mahony names Caltra skipper Noel Meehan in one corner-forward berth with younger brother Michael in the other.
Paul Clancy is the latest experiment at centre-back.
