Pennant extends Leeds stay
18/03/2004 - 13:27:54Arsenal winger Jermaine Pennant has extended his loan spell with Leeds for another month.
The 21-year-old will now stay at Elland Road until April 19th, but has confirmed his intentions to see out the season with the Yorkshire side.
“It’s just been extended from month to month and the plan is to go right to the end of the season,” he told Leeds’ official website, www.lufc.com.
The England Under-21 international has been at Elland Road since August and has featured in 26 games, scoring one goal.
Pennant’s final game of his latest loan spell will see him go up against his parent club, when Eddie Gray takes his side to Highbury to face Arsenal.
