AIB finals planned for May 8
12/03/2004 - 13:17:55The All-Ireland League finals for Divisions 1, 2 and 3 will be held on Saturday May 8 at Lansdowne Road.
This will be the first time ever in the seven-year history of the AIB League that all three finals have been played on the same day and in the same venue.
Speaking on behalf of AIB, Kathy McGarry stated that, "We are delighted that the Division One, Two and Three Finals will each be played in Lansdowne on the same day.
"This is the seventh season of our involvement with club rugby, and a great atmosphere is bound to prevail in and around Lansdowne Road, on a day that has become a highlight of the club rugby calendar," he said.
