Taoiseach still discussing Dublin/Monaghan bombings
12/03/2004 - 12:46:22The Taoiseach, Bertie Ahern, has revealed that discussions with the British about documents relating to the Dublin and Monaghan bombings are still ongoing.
Mr Ahern has previously expressed his dissatisfaction with the amount of documents handed over by the British authorities to the Barron Inquiry into the attacks, which killed 33 people on May 17, 1974.
There have long been allegations that elements of the British security services helped the loyalists who carried out the bombings but the Barron Report published last year said there was no concrete evidence to support these allegations.
