Ahern reiterates anger at Spanish attacks
12/03/2004 - 12:47:59The Taoiseach, Bertie Ahern, has reiterated his condemnation of yesterday’s bomb attacks on commuter trains in the Spanish capital, Madrid.
Speaking after a meeting with Slovakian Prime Minister Mikulas Zurinda this morning, Mr Ahern said: “This was a cowardly attack on the democratic process.
"As we have learned both here and in Britain, violence has no part in the political process.”
