Crespo begins three-week lay-off
09/01/2004 - 13:39:07Hernan Crespo begins his calf injury lay-off when Chelsea face Leicester at the Walkers Stadium on Sunday.
The Argentinian striker hobbled off after just 12 minutes of Wednesday’s 1-0 home defeat against Liverpool and faces up to three weeks on the sidelines.
Winger Damien Duff is back in training after his dislocated shoulder but it is likely to be another week before the Irishman makes his return.
Midfielders Juan Sebastian Veron and Emmanuel Petit are still out with their respective back and knee injuries.
