Martin 'preoccupied with smoking ban'
09/01/2004 - 17:22:50Labour is accusing Micheál Martin of being preoccupied with the smoking ban and turning a blind eye to the accident and emergency crisis in our hospitals.
The Party’s Health Spokesperson Liz McManus said Mr Martin should live up to his responsibilities by acting as a Health Minister rather than an anti-nicotine crusader.
Deputy McManus has said that hundreds of patients have been left waiting without a bed in hospitals but the Health Minster has little to say on the matter.
