Vieira poser for Wenger

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger must decide whether to take a risk on Patrick Vieira starting his second game in the space of just four days at Leicester tomorrow.

Wenger – who admits he rushed Vieira’s last failed comeback from injury – saw the Frenchman complete the full 90 minutes in his side’s Carling Cup victory against Wolves in midweek.

However, although Ray Parlour is still out with a hamstring injury, Wenger must decide whether to rest Vieira tomorrow ahead of Arsenal’s decisive Champions League tie against Lokomotiv Moscow next week.

Lauren is serving the final game of his four-match suspension and while Martin Keown is available again, he only returned to action after a calf problem in a midweek friendly.
