Setanta would return to professional GAA setup
05/12/2003 - 12:57:40Newly contracted Carlton player Setanta O hAilpin has revealed he'd return to play hurling for Cork if the GAA turned professional.
The Young Hurler of the Year, 20, only received a two year rookie contract which is worth about €13,000 per year but is already convinced he'll be a long-term hit.
He said: "The biggest thing that drove me here is the way that AFL is professional and I would like to see myself as a professional player."
