Postage prices to rise in 2004

From January 5 next, the minimum price of posting an airmail letter to another European country will increase from 57 to 65 cent.
Airmail letters to Britain will go up by 10 cent, to 60.
Non-priority bound UK items will increase in price from 41-50 cent.
An Post said the new rates will help address losses currently being incurred on services to Britain, and some European countries.
