The search is on for a young Britney
05/12/2003 - 10:34:32Britney Spears is overseeing an America-wide casting call to find a singer-actress to portray her in a film she and her mother Lynne are making based on their book A Mother’s Gift.
The pop star, who turns 22 on Tuesday, is too old to play her younger self so a search has been launched for a suitable actress.
“We’re looking for someone who can sing, dance and act, which is harder than it sounds,” an executive at the ABC network, which will be screening the film, told W magazine.
