Bradley names squad for Celtic Cup
Connacht coach Michael Bradley has named a 25-man squad for Saturday¹s Celtic Cup semi-final showdown against Edinburgh at the Sportsground in Galway (kick-off 2pm).
Bradley will wait for progress reports on a few injured players before announcing the side on Thursday.
Doubtful for the clash are fly-half Eric Elwood (leg), hooker Bernard Jackman (ankle) and prop Fabian Boiroux (back), while a number of other players are also nursing minor injuries.
Meanwhile, Connacht have urged their supporters to send a message of goodwill to the team as they prepare for Saturday's Celtic Cup semi-final showdown at the Sportsground.
All messages will be printed and displayed on the walls of the team room throughout the week.
There are three ways to send a message: By email to jcfallon@eircom.net ; by fax to 091-560097; or by text. Simple text CRU followed by message to 51123 (text charged at standard rate).
Tickets are on sale throughout the week from the Connacht Branch offices at the Sportsground and will also be available at the gate.
Fans are asked to note the earlier kick-off and that the gates will be open from midday.
This is probably the biggest rugby match ever played in the west of Ireland as Connacht try to get through to their first ever cup final.
