Morgan linked with Cork job

Former All-Ireland winning Cork manager Billy Morgan is reported to be close to a return to the Rebel County hot seat after more than a decade.

Current boss Larry Tompkins, a player under Morgan in the All-Ireland winning years of 1989 and 1990, has not made his intentions clear but is expected to resign after an unsuccessful year, paving the way for a Morgan return.

The Nemo Rangers boss has also been buoyed by the news that he'll be able to pick his own selectors if he takes the job.
