Aussies name Inter Rules squad

Australian coach Garry Lyon has named his 27-man squad ahead of the International Rules test series against Ireland Down Under later this month.

Lyon led Australia to an aggregate defeat of Ireland at Croke Park 12 months ago and sticks with last year's victorious captain Shane Crawford.

Lyon said: "We took a young enthusiastic side to Ireland last year, sprinkled with a few experienced veterans, and they did an outstanding job to win that series under Shane's leadership."
