CORI to audit religious-owned properties

07/10/2003 - 12:35:59
The Conference of Religious of Ireland (CORI) says it is urgently examining ways to conduct an audit of properties.

However, it is understood that when the assets are audited it will shed new light on whether 18 congregations can afford to pay more to the compensation deal for victims of child abuse in religious institutions.
