Berlusconi says sorry
03/07/2003 - 18:30:17German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder declared a diplomatic crisis with Italy over after Premier Silvio Berlusconi apologised today for his Nazi jibe in the European parliament.
Berlusconi “expressed his regret about the choice of this expression and comparison,” Schroeder said at the Berlin chancellery after speaking to Berlusconi by phone.
