New Irish Social Forum group formed
03/07/2003 - 13:02:45A group of organisations campaigning on social, environmental and trade issues have officially launched a new group to co-ordinate their opposition to the current world order.
The Irish Social Forum, which is planning to hold an alternative conference during the meeting of the World Economic Forum in Dublin later this year, is supported by Amnesty International.
Speaking at the launch today, its organisers called on community and voluntary groups to join the forum and help in the fight against national and global injustice.
