ESB workers injured in power plant accident

Three ESB workers are being treated in hospital after an accident at a power plant in Co Kerry.

The accident happened at lunchtime in a switchgear room at Tarbert Generating Station.

The three suffered burn injuries and have been taken to Tralee General Hospital.

The ESB is investigating the cause of the accident and says it will co-operate fully with the health and safety authority.
