People still unaware of PRSAs - survey
03/07/2003 - 08:11:32Half of the Irish population has never heard of the Government's personal retirement savings accounts, according to a survey conducted by the Irish Insurance Federation.
PRSAs were introduced five months ago and are aimed at employees of companies that have no occupational pension schemes.
The IIF's research showed that awareness of the PRSA scheme was particularly low among farmers, low-income earners and unskilled workers.
