Garda suspended after complaint
04/06/2003 - 07:13:54A Garda was arrested and suspended from duty last night following an allegation of sexual assault.
The officer was released without charge after being questioned at Pearse Street garda station in Dublin and a file is now being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
The woman making the complaint claimed that she was assaulted at a city centre park after seeking the assistance of the Garda.
