Crime costing Irish business €2bn

Almost half of Irish businesses have been affected by some form of crime in the last twelve months.

A survey by the Irish Small and Medium Enterprises Association reveals that crime is costing firms almost €2bn a year.

ISME chief executive Mark Fielding said this evening that most businesses surveyed believe the gardaí are under resourced.
