€1.25bn Exchequer deficit revealed
04/06/2003 - 17:41:16Further confirmation has come today that the Irish economy is slowing down.
The latest Exchequer figures show a deficit of just under €1.25bn for the first five months of this year.
It compares with a surplus of over €55m for the same period last year.
