Cyclist dies in Co Cavan collision
01/06/2003 - 08:53:18A cyclist has died following a road traffic accident which happened around 10pm last night in Co Cavan.
The dead man, who is in his twenties, was cycling on the Mountnugent to Oldcastle Road when his bicycle collided with a car.
He was pronounced dead at the scene and his body has been removed to Cavan General Hospital.
Gardaí will release the name of the victim when his relatives have been informed.
