Lambasting Robinson turns lamb-like
Presenter Anne Robinson, once the scourge of the Valleys for her outspoken views, has admitted one of her favourite dishes is Welsh lamb.
The Weakest Link host, noted for her withering put-downs, caused uproar with her scathing comments about the Welsh.
The mistress of mean conceded her weakness for the meat would cause some amusement among her critics in an interview with BBC Good Food magazine.
Robinson – who made her anti-Welsh comments during an appearance on BBC2’s Room 101 – will soon be seen fronting a new show Guess Who’s Coming To Dinner in which guests talk about their ideal dinner party.
Speaking about her own eating preferences in the magazine, she said: “We usually have a traditional Sunday lunch – beef or organic pork or lamb.
“I love Welsh lamb, which will please some people.”
