Phone bills to go up

Eircom is putting up its line rental charges by over 6% from June 1.
The move comes just two months after the phone company increased line rental by almost 8%.
Eircom says the price hike coincides with the provision of wholesale line rental.
This will allow other operators to rent lines from Eircom at wholesale rates.
