Spider-Man release date put back
27/03/2003 - 11:47:36The sequel to Spider-Man has been delayed by two months while Tobey Maguire recovers from a back injury.
The Amazing Spider-Man is now due for released in July next year.
Columbia Pictures has brought forward the release of vampire thriller Van Helsing to May 2004 to fill the gap in its schedule.
Maguire is set to film his role as Peter Parker in The Amazing Spider-Man this summer.
But Good Girl star Jake Gyllenhaal has been lined-up as a possible replacement in case he is not up to performing the stunts.
