Destiny's Kelly postpones tour amid war fears
27/03/2003 - 18:51:22Destiny’s Child star Kelly Rowland has postponed her UK tour dates because of travel worries during the Iraq conflict.
The singer was due to perform a number of shows next month during a European visit.
But after advice from US authorities about overseas travel, the shows have now been put back to September.
She said: “I’ve always really enjoyed performing for audiences in Europe with Destiny’s Child and am saddened at having to postpone my concert tour.
“It was very hard to postpone these shows because of all the love I feel for the fans. I am praying for quick end to the fighting and for all humanity to live in a truly peaceful world.”
