Soccer: 6pm kick-off agreed for Ireland match
11/09/2001 - 20:33:52The Republic of Ireland’s final World Cup qualifier against Cyrus at Lansdowne road on October 6 is to kick off at 6pm.
Consultation with the Portuguese, who meet Estonia in their final game on the same day, agreed that a 6pm start was suitable for both associations.
As both countries are level on points at the top of the table, with 21 points from their first 9 games, the final games in the groups require similar kick-off times.
