GAA: Andrews reigns as head of Cavan
11/09/2001 - 20:34:41Val Andrews has resigned as manager of the Cavan Senior football side.
Andrews had been in charge since January 1999 and he guided the team to the Ulster Championship final this season where they were defeated by Tyrone.
They were then eliminated from the Championship by Ulster rivals Derry.
