Eircom launches digital Internet service
11/09/2001 - 11:30:02Eircom has launched a digital Internet service for businesses which it claims will provide Internet access 30 times faster than existing telephone lines.
The service will allow users to use a single telephone line for voice calls, fax transmissions and Internet access.
Eircom hopes 35,000 to 40,000 businesses will subscribe to the service before next year.
