Narrow escape from bomb attack

Two children and their babysitter have narrowly escaped serious injury following
a bomb attack on a Catholic home in Armagh.

The babysitter, who was in her twenties, was minding an 18-month-old baby girl and a four-year-old boy when a bomb exploded at the gable end of the house on Hamiltonsbawn Road.

The RUC say that the device was crudely made but was potentially lethal
and have appealed for any witnesses to come forward.
