Cooper-Flynn must meet with parliamentary party
08/04/2001 - 14:16:57The Taoiseach, Bertie Ahern, says that he has a dim view of Beverly Cooper-Flynn’s present situation.
In an interview this afternoon, Mr Ahern said that the Mayo TD will meet with members of the Fianna Fail party in next few days to discuss the recent events surrounding her libel action against RTE.
He admitted that some members of the party are very annoyed with results
of the case but that the rules and procedures of the party must be followed
in this type of situation.
