£1.3m to go to cross border projects
08/04/2001 - 14:56:34The Department of Foreign Affairs is to hand over £1.3m to a number of cross-border community groups in an effort to strengthen the cross-border links.
The project, which is part of the Government’s commitments under the Good Friday Agreement, was announced today.
There are 45 groups that are set to benefit from the scheme, including Co-operation Ireland, Cliftonville Football Club and the Conference Report on the Future of Orange Halls.
