A Nightmare on Elm Street Special Edition still scares

As Halloween fast approaches, it’s time for some horror. A Nightmare on Elm Street Special Edition (EIV €24.99) certainly fits the bill as Freddy Krueger (Robert Englund) stalks the dreams of a bunch of teenagers, leaving a trail of death in his wake.

Wes Craven’s horror fest spawned a host of sequels, but the original is still the best.

Among the extras in this double disc release are out-takes, a host of featurettes on the Freddy legacy, plus an audio essay by Craven and others on the film.
