I smoked marijuana, admits Keating

Irish singer Ronan Keating has smashed his clean-cut image by admitting he has experimented with drugs.

The former Boyzone heart-throb tried marijuana during a trip to Amsterdam, The Netherlands, and hated the experience.

“I think people would be shocked if they heard Ronan Keating took drugs,” he said. “I was a bit naive towards them.”

“I was afraid that I'd be the unlucky one. Between you and me I've tried it (dope).”

“We went to Holland, as everyone does, we tried it. I have to say it wasn't for me. I didn't enjoy it”

“On my mother's grave, I've never taken any hard drugs.”
