I'll never power share with SF, claims Trimble
12/04/2005 - 12:09:55Ulster Unionist Party leader David Trimble has said he doesn't intend to ever share power with Sinn Féin again.
Speaking in Belfast this morning, Mr Trimble also said if republicans wanted to be part of any future negotiations, they would have to show a complete change of heart.
He said any IRA decommissioning must be transparent, with full details provided of the arms destroyed and how they are put beyond use.
Mr Trimble claimed the Irish and British governments had failed to push republicans hard enough and had left it up to the UUP to ensure the IRA went out of business.
