Seaman signs for Manchester City

Manchester City have confirmed David Seaman has agreed to sign a one-year deal with the club.

City manager Kevin Keegan was known to be on the trail of the out-of-contract Arsenal and England goalkeeper as a replacement for Peter Schmeichel.

Keegan worked with Seaman when he was coach of the England team.

City chairman John Wardle told www.mcfc.co.uk: “I am over the moon that David has signed for City.”
